2021 Girls' G14U Tryout Registration

Granite Bay Youth Lacrosse Girls' 2021 14U Season A-team Tryouts.

Granite Bay Youth Lacrosse intends to field an A-team for the 2021 Spring Season and will hold tryouts.

Tryouts will be held:

Date: August 23, 2020

Time: 6:00 - 7:30

Location: Douglas Ranch Park, Granite Bay, CA 95746.

Due to COVID-19 we may have to adjust this event and will keep you informed accordingly.

This is for age-eligible 14U age players: Born 9/1/06-8/31/08.

If you are an 8th grader but over the age limit - you can try out.

If you are younger than the age limit but intend to play up, you can try out.

There is no cost to attend tryouts, but for insurance purposes, all players must have valid U.S. Lacrosse registration - which you'll need for the season as usual.

Starting with the 2021 Spring season, Players selected for the A teams will pay an additional $40 assessment to cover additional expenses associated with A level play.

Players selected for the A team are expected to prioritize lacrosse during the lacrosse season.  There is more travel and the schedule will be more rigorous.

Every year, we have players with the skill to play on the A team opt to play B. Players make this decision because of conflicts, other activities, a desire to play with friends, or a present desire for more relaxed play.

It is important to realize that no preference is given in high school, next season, or other lacrosse programs to players based on "A" or "B" team participation for this season.

Please practice prior to tryouts. Don't come rusty.  We will have more information on wall ball and other prepatory activities.
